The new WSOP champion is already flooded with compliments from the poker world within just 24 hours of his magnificent win. It was the 23-year-old Michigan lad Ryan Riess who bagged the grand 8.4 million USD prize money beating Jay Farber at 2013 WSOP Main.

Ryan Riess is currently the most highlighted player in the global poker scene thanks to his stellar performance at the world’s biggest poker event this year that led to his first ever Gold Bracelet at WSOP. Since his win, the young American has been receiving streams of congratulations and complimentary remarks from the poker pros around. Mant of the poker players have taken to Twitter to convey their regards and wishes to Riess at RyanRiess 1.

Tony G, the poker legend & businessman was one among the first famous figures to congratulate the latest crowned boy of poker. Tony’s congratulatory message was laced with an undertone of a friendly dual with the new WSOP hero. “Well done”, went Tony’s tweet to Ryan. “If you’re the greatest of players then come to Montreal’s Premier League in November.”

Ryan has also received congratulatory tweets from the participants of the 2013 WSOP Main. Sylvain Loosli, the Frenchman who came 4th in the event, complimented Ryan via Twitter saying-“Congrats for winning at Main Event. It’s a heck of Final!”
